When I stepped out of the bedroom this morning after getting dressed my husband said, “Hello, my vampire princess.” Ha! Well, it is almost Halloween. This is by far one of my girliest shirts. I love the dramatic puff sleeves and stand up collar. The sheer part is made of [...] As you can see, I really love stripes. I was doing laundry yesterday and all my striped tops were in the wash at the same time, and I realized just how many I actually have. It’s seven, not including zebra striped items. Plus a striped skirt….maybe I’ll hold off on buying any [...] Heel wearing success today! It was chilly, so I decided to try wearing my cheetah print boots to school, despite their heel. It’s less than two inches, but even a small heel can be torture for me by the end of the day. The cushioning in the bottom of them really helped. [...] I seriously need some rain boots. It was rainy and fairly chilly today (you don’t hear me complaining though). A loud crack of thunder woke me up at 4:30am and I couldn’t get back to sleep after that, so I got an early start. I bought these cheetah print boots last year during the end-of-season sales, so this is the first chance I’ve gotten to wear them. After classes this morning, I met a couple of friends and we headed over to the opening of Nordstrom Rack here in Austin. Afterwards, we stopped at Whole Foods where they treated me to tea and cake (thank you, Patience and Sarah!). I pretty much studied for tests all day today, and I’m still recovering from being sick, but all in all, it was a good day.
