These are officially my favorite pants ever.
I found them on sale at J. Crew for $19.99 one day and despite the fact that I had no idea what I would wear them with, I KNEW it was meant to be. Because the pants are such a statement, and due to my short legs and the cut of the trousers, I got them hemmed for heels, which I think is most flattering. Unfortunately, this precludes me from wearing them to school because I have yet to find heels that I can comfortably wear while walking around all day, but I take every opportunity I can to wear them on the weekends. I also find I am building a collection of tops specifically to wear with the pants. Has this ever happened with any of you?
The trousers are J. Crew, the t-shirt is from Express, the denim jacket is BCBG, the ring is from Harold’s, shoes are Cole Haan, and sunglasses are Ray Bans.

Those pants are too fun! I love them with the striped top. My sister has a pair of red skinnies that she also gets great mileage out of – I’m amazed at how versatile a bright bottom can be.
