The heat and humidity that were supposed to be here yesterday arrived today. I’ve heard it described as a hot, wet, dog lick as you step outside your front door, which is surprisingly (disgustingly) accurate. So I decided to wear something simple and most importantly, machine washable. This time of year is always a bit difficult for me, because I really miss the gradual cooling and changing of the seasons. Autumn in Austin probably won’t come until the end of the month (if we’re lucky).
I continued with my grey theme from yesterday, but decided to punch it up with yellow shoes today. The tunic and belt are from Express, clamdiggers are J. Crew, shoes are Me Too, and bracelet is Amrita Singh, purchased at TJ Maxx.
