According to the Weather Channel website, it was meant to be 90 degrees here, so I opted to only wear a scarf and forego the jacket so I wouldn’t have to carry so many things with me, as I’m on foot. They were wrong, oh so wrong, and I was cold, oh so cold! It didn’t get past 70 degrees until almost 6 o’clock at night! Luckily I had my scarf! I usually make it a habit of throwing one into my bag even on hot days. With the AC on indoors, I’m always cold sitting in class, and scarves are lightweight alternatives to sweaters and jackets when you are going to be indoors and outdoors periodically throughout the day. If you work in an office, it might be a good idea to keep one at your desk.
As you have probably noticed, I don’t usually do pastel colors. But I just fell in love with this pleated lantern skirt from BCBG a few months ago when they were having their summer sale. The scarf is the prettiest shade of pale peach. It’s fun to step outside your box every now and then. The scarf is J. Crew, shoes are Clarks, t-shirt is Express and the ring is from Aldo.

Oh, my! I love this. The peach and grey look divine together. Well done! Stay cool today! :0)
Hi Ana! I’ve had fun reading through your blog – it’s so clean and your pictures are great!
I love your neutral/pastel outfit. The soft colors of your champagne Brulees and gray skirt are just beautiful. I like that your shoes really pick up your hair color, too.
Thank you Indiana and Kari!
Kari, thanks for the compliment on my blog! I’m currently trying to learn HTML, so maybe I will be able to do more interesting graphical things with it in the future.
