As you can see, I really love stripes. I was doing laundry yesterday and all my striped tops were in the wash at the same time, and I realized just how many I actually have. It’s seven, not including zebra striped items. Plus a striped skirt….maybe I’ll hold off on buying any more stripes for a while.
I’ve been brainstorming outfits for the “Week of Dresses and Skirts” challenge next week. I have built up a pretty good skirt and dress collection over the past year. I’m really looking forward to it, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. Any ideas or suggestions for me?
The jeans are Citizen of Humanity, ring is from Harold’s, the striped top is from Talbots, the sleeveless ruffled blouse (layered under the top) and cardigan are J. Crew, and the shoes are Me Too.

Love it! And I’ve been loving those yellow peep-toe flats for a while now.
I love how you incorporate color into your wardrobe! Very cool.
I would love to see some of your skirt looks using boyfriend cardigans and your leather jacket/s.
Thank you so much Danja, Maddy and Sarah!
Danja, I think these shoes are still available online. They are the Me Too “Ska” peeptoe wedge. Very comfy after a couple of wears.
That’s a clever combo; the stripes under that bright orange (or is that red?) top really make both items pop. The ruffles and the bottom white really even out all the proportions too. Nicely done!
