I had my checkered shoes on my mind since I wanted to wear them yesterday but didn’t get a chance to. So I built an outfit around them for today. It’s getting close to laundry day and I’m running low on clean clothing, so I paired a graphic tee and boyfriend cardigan with them a la Angie’s “Mom on the Go” formula. They are proving to be a great, flop-proof casual outfit guide for me this fall. Incidentally, if you are on the lookout for items to put together your own formula, Urban Outfitters has a lot of great graphic tees on sale right now for $9.99. I just picked one up earlier today.
The graphic tee is from Express, the cardigan is from Banana Republic, the necklace is from J. Crew, the jeans are Seven For All Mankind (swapped), and the shoes are Miu Miu (from Buffalo Exchange).

What a GREAT look on you!! So pulled together and polished.
They are such great formulas, aren’t they? I’ve mostly been using plain knit tops in this formula because I have a tough time finding graphic tees that don’t have too high of a neckline for me. Your Express tee is ultra-flattering, though.
I just love how you post a Polyvore with a slightly different take on what you’re wearing for each outfit. So helpful!
Thank you JavaBean and Kari!
The Express t-shirts have a really nice deep vee neck. The ribbing around the edge is thicker this year too, which I like a little bit better than in years past.
