The morning started out grey, misty and cold, so I really wanted to just wrap up in a nice, cozy sweater. This ensemble ended up being way too hot by 3:00pm though, since the sun came out, burned all the mist away and drove temperatures up to 79 degrees. I said last Friday that I would post this Saturday or Sunday, but due to battery issues with my camera, I was not able to upload the photos until now. Friday after school I headed over to a friend’s house. She has two loving and rambunctious [...] It was so nice to pull on a pair of jeans after wearing dresses all last week. I had a lot of fun, but it’s nice to be able to move around without worrying that you might expose your bits. I mostly worked this weekend, and after a dressier week of outfits, I [...] I wore all black and white today. My original plan was to go the Austin Bloggers Meet-Up in the evening after school, and I was going to carry my red handbag and wear my red specs, which would have provided a little punch of color, but alas, math homework took longer than expected and [...] This is one of my favorite skirts, and I was so excited to be able to wear it again, because I haven’t pulled it out since last winter. It’s a rather restrictive skirt, so if it’s above 80 degrees, I find it’s too hot to wear it. It was 78 degrees today, just [...] As hinted at in my post yesterday, I decided to haul out my lone cocktail dress and see if I could make it work in a more casual setting. Its “dressiness” is mainly due to the styling (low neckline) and the fact that it is made of a silk satin material, and has some [...] Day two of “No Pants Week” and things are in full swing! It was gorgeous and warm outside today here in Austin–perfect dress weather. I saw several of my dress week compatriots in the halls at school and they looked fabulous!
