I’m not really into heavily embellished clothing or lots of glitz and shine, but I was really taken with this sequined tank when I spied it at Express a few weeks ago. My friend Margaret had also been on the lookout for similar item, so maybe I had it on the brain. I like how the sequins on this tank are tiny, so the shimmer is more subdued. I paired with with simple jewelry and a black cardigan so as not to overdo the look. I really wanted to wear my checkered heels, but I was running late and didn’t want to go noisily clattering into my classroom and create a ruckus. So I opted for my simple black ballet flats and was able to pad in quietly without disturbing the lecture. Oh well, maybe next time.

It’s so funny you posted this! I tried on the same tank last night at Express. I agree with you about the subtle shine…so pretty! I decided to wait until my coupons kick in to purchase it. No point in spending $30 when I can buy it for $20 with a coupon. Hopefully, there will be some left by then
